Tiesto is our showstopper, holding the highest specialty score in the Coffee Balam lineup. It’s crafted through the traditional Matambú process - beans ferment with fruit in a proprietary solution inside anaerobic tanks for five days before sun-drying. The result: wine-like richness, bright acidity, and tasting notes of chocolate, blueberry, blackberry, and honey.

Beyond flavor, Tiesto is a direct celebration of Chorotega heritage. This process is part of their ancestral craft, and each purchase helps sustain it. Coffee Balam is woman-owned, and 5% of every sale goes to the Committee for the Culture and Preservation of Matambugueño Traditions.
