Our Congo variety is honey-processed for a smooth, balanced cup full of red fruit, caramel, chocolate, and vanilla notes. After being pulped, the beans are dried in the sun with the natural honey from the cherry still intact, creating one of the smoothest expressions in the Coffee Balam lineup.

Every bean is grown Costa Rica’s Nicoya Peninsula, one of the world’s five Blue Zones, known for health and longevity. Coffee Balam is proudly woman-owned by Cinthia, and 5% of sales go directly to the Committee for the Culture and Preservation of Matambugueño Traditions, helping the Chorotega community keep its heritage alive with every sip.
